The key benefit of clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters are that they are non-intrusive and therefore do not require any shutdown or modification of the pipelines during installation or maintenance.
Clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters are suitable for simple water flow measurements to energy flow monitoring, automated process control and product recognition applications. They are especially suited for larger pipelines where the cost for pipeline shutdown or modification is substantial.
